A downloadable game
This game was made for a university project for the practical computer games course. The theme of the game is tamed growth.
DRAW -- FIGHT -- UPGRADE!
In Sketch Blossom you draw plants and use them to fight wild plants. The game features a drawing system with different brush sizes, a coloring bucket and a color picker! Take different approaches while drawing and find out which work best! If you don't know how a plant should look, you will find 2 different interpretations of each plant in the world.
Explore the vast forest and defeat each boss! You can fight plants along the way to power up! The battles are simple, just draw the attack you want to execute. Choose the right plant to win each battle using the intuitive type advantage system.
Tamed (and) Growth!
After you win a battle, you can either choose to upgrade your plant by adding one new stroke to it or you can choose to tame the plant you defeated. You can even tame the plant of the boss enemy you just beat!
Story
Defeat the evil food beings and stop their plan to take over the forest!
Technology
We use a python server running in the background to identify everything you draw. We use the CLIP model for zero-shot image classification, allowing us to have diverse labels for your drawings!

Install instructions
Just download the zip file and start the game! It might take some time to load from the intro scene, that would be the python server still loading but it should'nt take too long, most of the time it loads instantly!
You won't have to worry about installing any python packages or even python itself (if you don't have it installed anyways)! It all gets delivered inside the build!
This game currently only supports windows.
